A fter a long hiatus from the radio, I wanted to do something different. I have a couple of raspberry pi’s sitting around doing diddly so I decided to try my hand at setting it up as a wireless access point. After a few attempts I was logging into it headless.
On to the second challenge! Using my kx3, flrig, wsjt-x, a cheap usb sound card, real time clock and my kindle fire tablet, I now have portable ft8 ready for my backpacking adventures.
BTW, I am not a huge fan of ft8, it’s just another fun mode to try. And of course at 7 watts it’s more of a fun challenge. 72 de KE2YK
