Quick Skeeter Hunt Update:

Spent a couple of hours today working the Skeeter Hunt. I have to say that it was a blast! This was my first time as a Skeeter and I feel that I did pretty well. Not sure what my total score is but it’s all about fun anyway! The bands were not that great but that just made it more of a challenge. Dummy me forgot to self post to qrpspots! Oh well, I’ll do better next year. I am already looking forward to the next #skeeterhunt

We’re just one week away!

Sunday, August 15th is the running of the 10th Annual NJQRP Skeeter Hunt. If you haven’t gotten your Skeeter Number, now is the perfect time. While a number is not needed to participate, it certainly adds to the fun, and there’s still plenty of time to get one! Just send an e-mail to w2ljqrp at arrl dot net with your call sign, name and the state or province that you will be operating from. You will receive an e-mail back with your number for 2021. New numbers are issued each year, so don’t assume the number you may have had previously is the same going forward.

Skeeter Numbers for 2021 will be issued until and including next Saturday.
